The State Police Association of Massachusetts is saddened to announce the line of duty death of one of our members. Trooper Thomas Devlin, a member of the 66th Recruit Training Troop (RTT), a 35 year veteran of the State Police, will be greatly missed. Throughout his long and distinguished career, Trooper Devlin served at the State Police Concord Barracks (A-3). Trooper Devlin succumbed to his injuries that were sustained in the line of duty while he was conducting a motor vehicle stop in Billerica on July 26, 2018.

Our deepest condolences go to Tom’s loving and caring wife Nancy, his children Matthew, Paul, Rachel, and Hannah, and his multiple family members, including those that are continuing to serve the Commonwealth as members of the Massachusetts State Police.

Arrangements are pending at this time. Services will be announced as they are finalized in the upcoming days. The State Police Association of Massachusetts (SPAM) appreciates your support for his family, friends, and colleagues.
