Field Park, 370 Oak Street in Brockton. The Run is a tribute to Coulter, an avid marathon runner who dedicated much of his life to the charity Cops for Kids with Cancer. Coulter died on October 1st after a brief illness and left behind a commendable legacy of honorable police work, a dedication to helping others, and a love of running. He served as Chairman of Cops for Kids with Cancer after beating his own prognosis to help provide financial support for children currently battling the disease. Coulter joined the Massachusetts State Police in 1974 and served for almost 45 years, during which time he ran over 20 triathlons and over 150 marathons including the Boston Marathon.
