Connecticut State Police Union Offers $1,000 Reward
On Saturday, July 4, 2020, at approximately 0300 hours, in the Town of Danielson, Connecticut, unknown individual(s) forced entry into a locked State Police cruiser and stole several items, including, but not limited to; a semi-automatic Bushmaster XM 15 Rifle. Sergeant Doug Weddleton 10-year memorial service at State Police Foxboro
On June 16, 2010, Sergeant Doug Weddleton was killed in the line of duty. Sgt. Weddleton was working a construction detail on Rt. 95 in Mansfield when he encountered a vehicle that had blocked the ramp. While speaking with the operator of this vehicle a second vehicle struck the first vehicle, which ultimately caused the death of Sgt. Weddleton.
